Hi! I’m Eva. Just before I turned 16 my mom and I listened to the audio book version of The Total Money Makeover by Dave Ramsey. Dave helped me realize that planning and budgeting your finances is interesting and can be fun – especially when you are young and haven’t had time to make many financial mistakes yet! As I start on my journey, I know there is much to learn. This site is dedicated to other teens who want to be smart financially. I look forward to learning and growing in this area along with you!
When I’m not planning or writing for TeensGotCents, you can find me in the gym rock climbing, cuddling with my cat, or watching a movie with my mom. I also chew a fair amount of gum…
be centsible!
Eva

REGULAR CONTRIBUTORS:
Charlotte Baker is a single mom moving forward from divorce and a complete failure to plan for retirement. It has taken a couple of years to dig herself out of some fairly massive credit card debt. If you are facing your own challenges join her on her journey over at the MomCents tab!
Sarah Fechtel is a twenty-one year old fashion queen and opera diva. When she isn’t busy with college classes or digging through the half price bin at her local thrift shop you may find her bouncing around the Outback on her latest mission trip. She will be sharing her best tips on fashion and frugality here at the ShoppingCents tab! Although Sarah is no longer writing every month you can still find all of her fabulous ‘Shopping With Sarah’ posts here on TeensGotCents. Thanks so much Sarah!
Michael Horton is a sports fanatic and a closet Trekkie. When he isn’t perusing through hundreds of sports articles you can find him on the basketball court or in the local Best Buy searching for a good deal on the latest piece of tech. Whenever he has a free moment he loves to lounge around jamming to his Beats by Dr. Dre (which doesn’t happen nearly often enough in his opinion). Mike will be writing about the best way to find tech deals along with product reviews and other ways to save money that generally doesn’t involve Pinterest or any other girly type stuff…
