Gift Ideas For Guys

It can be really hard to find a gift for the guys that isn't something that is expensive or super boring. Ben has some great gift ideas for guys that you can afford!

The third Saturday of November is always a fun filled weekend for our family. In St. Augustine this is the weekend that the city turns on its lights and the Nights of Lights Festival begins. For our family light up the nights is the start of the Holiday Season. And, the start of the holidays means it’s time to start thinking about Christmas gifts. Believe it or not, you can get gifts for the guys you care about without breaking your budget.

I have come up with 10 affordable gift ideas for guys. The first five gifts you can get for under $20. The second five are all under $50. All of these are easy to find and can really mean a lot to whomever you are purchasing them for.

It can be really hard to find a gift for the guys that isn't something that is expensive or super boring. Ben has some great gift ideas for guys that you can afford!

1 – Socks.

These might seem like something so simple or boring but you can find some great designs out there that are fun. And we like them. Really!

2 – A book.

Believe it or not, reading is still a thing and a good book is always appreciated especially if it is on a topic that you know he really loves.

3 – Pens and Stationary.

You can spend as little as $5 on this gift and it’s a practical gift that most any guy will appreciate.

Because who doesn’t want a giant jawbreaker???

4 – Candy and other sweet treats.

You can spend as much or little as you want and they are quite tasty. You can also do something like a giant jawbreaker that is out of the ordinary!

5 – Gift Cards.

There are dozens of hobbies that warrant a gift card. Music and sporting goods to name a few. Some people say a gift card isn’t a great gift but lots of guys like to have the opportunity to pick out something they really love!

6 – A Tie.

A specially printed tie or something plain tie can be a fun gift and also be something some guys will use often.

I may have included this specifically because I want one…

7 – A “Going Out” shirt.

Practical gifts are really great because they actually get used, and no, we don’t think they are boring.

8 – A Pick Punch.

These work like a hole punch except they use old credit cards and make guitar picks. Perfect for someone who loves music!

9 – USB Rocket Launcher.

No explanation needed.

10 – A hand warmer, flashlight, phone charger combined into one.

Because you just never know when you might need all three of these things at the same time!

All ten of these easy gift ideas are fun and shouldn’t be too hard to find. These practical gift ideas will make the guy you’re buying for happy and give him a smile at least 98% percent of each time he uses it.

Hi guys, I’m Eva!

Welcome to TeensGotCents, my name is Eva Baker and I founded this site when I was sixteen. I'm a complete money nerd and I love helping teens learn how money works. Also, I watch too much Netflix. Although I still have a lot to learn about personal finance I hope you will use my successes and failures to help reach your own goals whether you want to go to college debt free, get a part time job, work on a fun DIY project that will save you money or just read about ways you can learn to manage your money well as a teen. So glad you're here! Read more about my story here.

Dog-sitting is an awesome job for responsible teenagers who love to be around animals and can work independently. Plus, it’s perfect to work around your school or work schedule. I had my first dog-sitting experience (with a super cute Australian Labradoodle), and now I’m convinced this may be the most perfect first job for teens looking for a little extra cash. Don’t forget to check the pics to see the cute dog snaps I took!

As a helicopter pilot with the US Navy, he’s had to really work his way to the top, and one of the ways he did this is by styling himself in a way that was memorable and professional. Zan stops by the blog to give his best advice for teens who want to class up their looks and use fashion to their advantage.
