Spruce Up Your Wardrobe With Lace!

by Sarah Fechtel 6 Comments

Shopping expert Sarah is all about repurposing wardrobes and spending less on today’s fashion. One look she is totally crushing on this season is, believe it or not, lace! Lace items can be expensive, but when done right and by using thrift store and cheap finds, you can make the vintage look work for you. Here’s how she plans on rocking this DIY style for less money than a new shirt at your favorite store.

Lace has come a long way through the centuries. You know, upon reflection, I’d have to say that lace has been one of the most impactful articles of dress and décor the world has ever seen. Since it was invented (don’t ask me when that was. I have no clue.), lace has been an iconic part of society—from lace caps to lacey ball gowns to lace headbands and sleeves. And girls, lace is definitely “all the rage” here in 2013. And can I say that I’m pretty happy about that?

Harping on Reminding you of my last post, there is so much you can do to a bland wardrobe! Today, let’s discuss how to jazz up your clothes with (guess?) LACE! I really had to give lace its own blog post because it’s so awesome. Oh, and lace can be pretty awesomely cheap.

Great idea! I love sprucing up my wardrobe by adding little things here and there. It makes the pieces more interesting and also saves me money so I don’t get bored and end up at the mall.
